NOVA

“I’m not wearing any underwear!” The moment she screams at me, she must remember she has neighbors because she covers her mouth and widens her eyes.

I chuckle and offer her my hand.

“Well aware, Dove.” I pat the remnants of the lace I ripped off her, which are now peaking out of my suit like a pocket square.

“You’re shameless,” She grabs her purse and walks to her front door, where she proceeds to tap her foot on the floor like I’m the one holding us up now.

“Careful. You didn’t pay for the spanking you’re about to earn.” I stand from where I was leaning against the edge of her couch and pull my cuff links back down before joining her by the door.

“Shall we?” I open the door and breath a small sigh of relief when her fucking ex is now where in sight.

The limo driver steps out of the vehicle, but I wave him off and open Simone’s door myself.

“In you go, watch your dress.” She lets out an annoyed sound that’s more like a growl.

When her laughter dies down, her face turns serious, and I relax back in my seat for what is coming. It was inevitable in my line of work. I wink at her so she knows it’s ok to ask.

“Is it always like this?” And there it is.

The moment when all my clients doubt themselves more than me. Yes, they hired me to make them feel good, but I couldn’t have possibly achieved that without their guidance. I make them show me what they need and force them to take it. I’m just sly about it.
